What a special place! Our family of 4 stayed here when we visited Paquime. First of all, you cannot beat the location. Practically outside the archeological site. The place itself is beautiful and full of character! I love all the details, from the Saltillo tiles that fill the room with a rain-like smell after each shower, to the exposed timber, to the adobe facade. But the best completement to the place are the owners, Jack and Leticia. Beautiful, welcoming people! Make sure you try the coffee, some of the best I've had.
Indeed a very magical place to stay as the name of the town infers. Leticia is much of the magic and will make sure you are happy and comfortable, during your stay. Yes it is true that there might be less costly options but you will regret missing out on this one. Pay the extra for the breakfast in the morning as it is well worth it and will feed you for the day. The vistas are tranquil and grand and the stars in the evening are admonishing. Wildlife in the way of birds and others are great. Their dogs are great and make great friends and and keep any potential foes at bay. I felt secure and appreciate the way the parking is for guests only and mostly enclosed and camera monitored. It is mostly quiet and fairly private and is in a great part of town literally a short walk to the Paquime ruins as well as an oxxo and a six as well as some dining options and parks nearby. I will absolutely come back next visit.
Awesome suites and patio with a beautiful desert view close to the historical Casas Grandes ruins and museum. Very nice and quiet area inside a lovely peace of nature where i enjoyed walking. Jack is a very friendly and kind host. The town is cozy with many historical and classic style buildings and artful houses. 15 minutes walk to a good quality restaurant La Finca de Don Cruz. Nice stay that i highly recommend.
This was my second stay at Pueblo del Soul. Two years ago I passed through Casas Grande on a motorcycle tour through Mexico and the two nights spent at Pueblo del Soul was an absolute highlight. This year I traveled with my wife who was interested in visiting nearby Mata Ortiz to check out the incredible pottery scene there. She loved visiting all the different pottery studios, meeting the amazing artisans and purchasing many beautiful works of art. Oh yeah, she was totally in love with Pueblo del Soul and its wonderful hosts Jack and Leticia! Pueblo del Soul is a gem. Its construction invokes the classic National Park lodges I visited as a child back in the 60’s. The interiors have this super inviting craftsman feel that’s just so relaxing. The rooms all have their own private little courtyard with nice views of the area. There is also a cool rock fireplace in each room for the cooler seasons. Every morning we were treated to a delicious breakfast served up in the cafe on site. The food was cooked to order, fresh and tasty! A perfect start to our day. Pueblo del Soul is also a stone cold great travel bargain. I would highly recommend that if you’re considering staying here to contact the owner directly for your booking. The rates are VERY reasonable and it’s just good karma to sidestep the booking sites and reserve your place in this desert paradise directly with Jack. It’s just a great place to hang out, breathe deep and relax. Can’t wait to return!
Such a great place. You can tell the place was built with love and pride, and Jack and Leticia are wonderful hosts. Pleasant conversation (English and Spanish), wonderful views, and a super breakfast! Book it - you won’t be disappointed.
Perhaps the Very Best Casita we have ever stayed in. The owners, Jack and Leticia, are two Magical, Marvelous, Mirthful human Beings. Beds are comfortable. Insulation is great for a very quiet stay. Shower perfect. Wifi is Excellent! We never turned on the tv. If you are able to have Leticia fix you breakfast, then you will be in Heavenly Delight. I cannot recommend this place enough. Fabulous!
